Frequently asked questions

1. What is the address of the complex for the taxi driver?
- Carihuela Park Palace, Calle Miami (La Carihuela), 29620 Torremolinos (opposite Hotel Roc Lago Rojo)

2. What time can I expect to be able to gain access to my apartment?

- The official time for availability is 4 pm, but the apartments are sometimes ready before then.

3. When we first arrive at the complex and find that the gates are closed.  How do we gain access if we have not been issued with a key in advance?
- If you have not been issued with a key prior to your departure from home or you are unable to find your personal key there are lots of people coming and going during the day. It is usual for people with luggage to gain access quickly.  After 9 pm special arrangements can be made.

4. When we arrive and have passed through the entrance gates, where do we then go?
- If you use either the front or back gates you should make your way to the main multi story building.  In the foyer you will find the lifts to all floors.  The first number of your apartment will also be the floor number.

5. Do we have to check-in with anyone when we arrive?
- No you do not need to check-in.  Because there is no public reception desk our representative Margarita will call to see you within a few days.

6. When we get to our apartment where is the key box for our apartment key?
- It is situated by the door to your apartment. You will have been already issued with a code
.

7. How will I know if my apartment is ready to use?
- If the key is in the box then your apartment has been cleaned and prepared for you.  If the key is not in the key box then your apartment is not yet ready.

8. If we arrive late evening on a Saturday where can we purchase the basic food provisions?
- There are a few mini supermarkets within 2-3 minutes walking distance, who stay open until around 9 pm.

9. Is there anyone we can contact if there is a problem we cannot solve?
- Yes our Spanish representative Margarita can be contacted in an emergency.  Her details are in the apartment

10. What facilities are available on the complex, any for children, and is there a charge?
- There are many facilities available, see the main context of the website, including a kiddie’s pool and a children’s playground, a tennis court, table tennis tables, outside bar terrace, sun loungers. There is a nominal fee for sun loungers during high season.

11. Can I get more than one key for my apartment?
- There are 2 apartment keys and 2 gates keys supplied.

12. Can I hire a car?
- Car hire can be arranged through Margarita. (Don’t forget you will need your driving license)

13. What do I do if I have a baby or young child?
- Cots and high chairs are available – there is a nominal nightly charge.
